How PublBox Is Dealing with the New GDPR Rules

PublBox takes all the necessary measures in order to protect their clients’ information. The company’s user database is located on reliable, safe servers.

The European Union issued a new law on protecting data privacy. It’s the General Data Protection Regulation, more commonly called the GDPR. It comes into effect in the EU’s 28 member states on May 25, 2018.

The law changes the rules for companies that collect, store or process large amounts of information on residents of the EU, requiring more openness about what data they have and with whom they share it.

It also means any company with a digital presence in the EU (which for the time being still includes the UK) will have to comply with the law or face steep penalties.

Currently most companies are already actively looking for effective ways to convert GDPR legal provisions into tangible measures to safeguard their transparency and reduce the risk of losing clients. PublBox has also dedicated its resources to this high-priority task.

Recently, PublBox successfully passed all GDPR verifications. The company had updated the Privacy Policy, Terms of use, Cookies Policy and made a full explanation of what data they collect, to whom they pass it and how it works all together.

PublBox has released an opt-in consent aligned with GDPR regulation. Upon request, the company is able to and will provide all the data it has collected on the specific user during the entire time he or she has used the service.

In compliance with GDPR requirements, PublBox has appointed a Data Protection Officer (DPO) and a representative in the EU. Each EU resident can get in touch with our representative in case of questions about their personal data. Their full contact information is available in the Privacy Policy on our Web Site.
